The SHOCKSystem™ provides online cleaning for boiler connective passes, airheaters, and enviromental control equipment at coal-fired power plants.

DETONATION-BASED ONLINE BOILER CLEANING
Aerospace Technology
The SHOCKSystem™ creates boiler-cleaning blast waves through a combustion process known as detonation. The technology behind the detonation process comes directly from Pratt & Whitney's continued work on the propulsion system of the future.

Detonation Cycle
Injecting, Mixing, Igniting

After injecting, mixing and igniting, the resulting detonation generates a high-pressure blast wave that the SHOCKSystem™ directs toward the problem area. This blast wave travels at supersonic speeds into the boiler and provides the cleaning effectiveness of the SHOCKSystem™.
